Nice new Asian supermarket in Bayside, variety of fresh fruit, vegetables, live and frozen seafood, plus meat and Asian groceries. Parking lot in rear and meter parking on Bell Blvd. 8/31/2023 update: Wonderful neighborhood supermarket, service is good and better compare to Flushing. Price are reasonable with promotion throughout the week. Highly recommended if you are looking for Asian grocery and fresh seafood, meat, fruit, and vegetables.

The supermarket is not a big one It's kind of narrow for the aisle compared to H mart. I like to go because it's in the neighborhood. It provides different products and the price is average. I got lots of options there. The staffs there are nice and friendly.

Decent Chinese supermarket if you just happen to be local, but otherwise I would rather drive towards Little Neck, Fresh Meadows or Flushing area for bigger snd better varieties. Like before mentioned, pretty convenient but don’t expect too much. Small with narrow isles.

Be careful when shopping at Walfood Supermarket! I went there today and found their meat and seafood were not fresh at all, and many vegetables looked old and wilted. When I politely mentioned this to the manager, he was extremely rude — told me “don’t make trouble” and even said they don’t guarantee the quality of what they sell. He blamed me for “not checking carefully” before buying. Such terrible customer service! Very disappointing and unprofessional.

I’ve been a loyal customer here for years, but my recent trip to the seafood counter was absolutely unacceptable. Here’s what happened: I bought some seafood, but the label fell off mid-shop. When I asked the staff to reweigh and relabel it, I noticed they were using a wet, dripping plastic bag (which they refused to replace, claiming “this is how we always do it”). I politely asked to remove the wet bag since I remembered them not using one before, but the employee got impatient, and even accused me of “lying” about the previous labeling. Worse, as I walked away with my cart, I overheard them complaining about me to another worker—totally unprofessional. To top it off, when I got home, I found the bag was filled with water (not just dampness). It’s clear they were trying to add extra weight (and charge me for water!) by keeping that wet bag. This isn’t just bad service—it feels like fraud. The attitude was rude, the practice was unethical, and I left feeling disrespected and ripped off. I trusted this store, but after this? Never again. Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere.
