I’ve been coming to this gynecologist for years and I’ve always had a great experience. The staff is consistently kind, professional, and welcoming. I recently met the new team, including Andy, and he was wonderful ,very helpful, patient, and made everything feel smooth and easy. I also appreciate their new app system, which made the process even more organized and efficient. Dr. Cherenfant performed my first Pap smear, and it was fast and comfortable. I was extremely nervous going in, but there was truly no reason to be. They made me feel safe and at ease. Highly recommend.
Amazing i love this place. Ive been a long time client. Dr. Lucot cherenfant my favorite doctor. Clean environment. Great service. New system new staff very friendly. Ive been going here many years
Wouldn’t think I would say this about a gynecologist, but I love this doctor! A coworker recommended him and she wasn’t wrong. He is very caring, thorough, and gentle. He doesn’t rush you out of the office like other doctors do. He takes his time to ask questions address your concerns. Another thing I really like is that he actually answers messages via the patient portal . I highly recommend.
I want to start by saying that Dr. Lucot Cherenfant and his usual team have always been kind, patient, and helpful during my previous visits. I have consistently had positive experiences with them, and I truly appreciate the care I’ve received. Today, however, was very upsetting. I was told that Dr. Cherenfant was not in the office and that only Dr. Angelina was available, which I completely understood. The issue was not availability, but the way I was treated by the staff covering today. I am newly diagnosed with PCOS and experiencing medication side effects that made me very shaky and triggered panic attacks. When I called the office seeking guidance, the staff I spoke with was rude, dismissive, and showed no empathy. I asked if a message could be taken or my concerns passed along, but instead I felt brushed off. I called multiple times over the course of two hours and never received a response. Being treated this way while already panicking was extremely distressing. This experience was very different from the care I usually receive at this office, which is why it was so disappointing. I hope this was an isolated incident and that it’s addressed, because patients dealing with medication reactions deserve compassion and timely communication.
I am writing this review to warn other patients about my extremely traumatic and dangerous experience under the care of Dr. Lucot’s office, specifically his female assistant doctor, who was primarily in charge of my prenatal care. I trusted this practice for over three years, believing I would be in good hands, but their negligence nearly cost me my life and the life of my baby. Throughout my pregnancy, I was not given the proper monitoring that is standard and medically necessary, especially for urine testing and blood pressure checks. They rarely checked my vital signs, and the last time they checked my blood pressure was TWO WEEKS before I had to undergo an emergency C-section at 28 weeks due to severe preeclampsia, kidney failure, and dangerously high blood pressure. At 26 weeks, I reported swelling in my feet and legs after traveling a classic warning sign of preeclampsia. Instead of taking it seriously, the assistant doctor dismissed my concern and told me it was “normal from traveling.” Later, I found out my blood pressure that day was 120/80, which should have been a red flag in pregnancy, especially combined with swelling. They did not perform a single urine test that day or in the following weeks, which could have detected protein in my urine and potentially prevented the life-threatening emergency I went through. One week before my emergency C-section, I returned for an appointment, and once again, NO VITALS WERE TAKEN no blood pressure, no urine test, nothing. If they had done the proper screening, my preeclampsia would have been caught in time, and I may have avoided suffering kidney failure, losing my vision temporarily for over a month, being placed on dialysis twice, and being hospitalized for 15 days, barely surviving. My baby was born at 28 weeks and nearly died. She is still in the NICU today because of this negligence. To make matters worse, after my emergency, on July 30, 2025, I received a call from the front desk to schedule a follow-up. I clearly explained my medical emergency and what had happened. No one ever followed up with me not the assistant doctor, not Dr. Lucot himself. After being a loyal patient for more than three years and trusting them with my life, I was completely abandoned after nearly dying under their care. This experience was traumatizing. I placed my full trust in this office because Dr. Lucot delivered my aunt’s baby, but I strongly advise others: DO NOT allow the assistant female doctor to manage your pregnancy. She is negligent and dismissive, and her lack of proper prenatal care is the reason I almost died. Unfortunately, this negligence reflects poorly on Dr. Lucot as well, because he allows this level of care in his practice and fails to supervise properly. I do not recommend this office to anyone who values their health or their baby’s life. My near-death experience and my baby’s ongoing suffering in the NICU were preventable. This was not an unfortunate complication—it was the direct result of neglect, lack of proper monitoring, and failure to follow standard prenatal care protocols. Your life and your baby’s life are too important to risk here.
