Working with Warren Real Estate to find an apartment in NYC was an absolute pleasure. In the Wild West of NYC Real Estate, Meagan Harvey is a straight shooter-- an honest, quick to the point, and deadly accurate broker. She fully absorbed and understood the details with which I provided her when I began my apartment hunt. And each of the places that she showed me fit those details exactly. She was kind enough not to waste our time with apartments that were a stretch of the imagination. No tricks. No smart talk. Just straight forward and delightful conversation about real options. I honestly could have lived in any of the listings that she showed me, which brings me to my final point. Meagan is wise enough to know that the actual hunting for an apartment is truly the first memory of a new home; and therefore, it should be an enjoyable one. At every turn, she was invariably lovely and kept me assured that this experience need not be a stressful one. I now live in an apartment in East Village that I love; and for that, I will always be grateful.

I cannot stress enough to avoid this group. Unprofessional, unethical, and incredibly unhelpful. I paid an application fee, had a hard pull on my credit score and am fairly sure they didn't even bother to submit. I'm farther from getting into an apartment than when I started. I could not get a single straightforward answer. There were surprise fees and surprise delays around every corner. I was also spoken to as though I had never rented in NYC before. I've lived and worked in the neighborhood for a decade. They did seem to have a big problem with the fact I work in food service, so maybe that and the tattoos were the reason for the discrimination. But I'm thoroughly disgusted with the way I was treated and I'm really hoping this review will help someone else avoid the mistake I made with trusting the brokers who work here. At one point I was asked for a surprise deposit. I asked in person, through text and on the phone what was needed to get me into a certain apartment. After sending them all of my information and getting a hard pull on my credit they sat on my application for a day before asking me to venmo them directly money or else they wouldn't submit for me. I tried to get an answer on why I wasn't told earlier about the deposit particularly since I asked specifically if there was one. I was talked to like I was an idiot for even questioning them. Unfortunately I had already sent them everything else and began to feel very sick to my stomach about working them with them at all. I still have not heard back about my application. Who knows if they even sent it.
