6 stars. I selected Dr. Lao after considering many surgeons across the West Coast, East Coast, and internationally for an Asian rhinoplasty. I had high expectations to begin with, and Dr. Lao exceeded them. I came to my consultation with a clear idea of my desired result, but I was conflicted about the exact slope that would best suit my features. Because of that, I wanted a surgeon who could preserve my original intent while also exercising strong aesthetic judgment where I felt uncertain. Those are tough expectations to balance, and Dr. Lao delivered. I look like myself, just significantly enhanced, which is a feeling you don’t really understand until you experience it yourself. My recovery was honestly easier than a wisdom tooth extraction. That almost sounds impossible, but I think it says a lot about Dr. Lao’s surgical skill. I just had my follow-up appointment, and calling Dr. Lao extremely talented still feels like an understatement. He’s also genuinely kind and warm. I’m easily searchable on TikTok and Instagram if anyone wants to verify the human behind the screen!

Had a very good experience with dr Lao and his team. They gave me all the options but ultimately suggested I get my facial mole removed with a laser. I went with this option and had great results. My mole is gone!! The procedure was quick and painless and the aftercare was very simple. Their office is also beautiful and clean. I recommend Dr. Lao's office to anyone needing anything done.

I’d been thinking about a lower blepheroplasty for about a year before I did a consult with Dr Lao. I’m an Asian female in late 40s and worked in aesthetics and beauty professionally so I did a lot of research beforehand. Currently I’m about two months post an upper blepheroplasty, lower blepheroplasty and fat transfer. I’m very pleased with my results! I was extremely worried about many things but the doctor and staff made them selves available for any questions before and after the procedure. Even though I feel like the upper bleph was a big change, my friends only noticed that I look refreshed, brighter and more awake. Which is exactly how I wanted my procedure to be! Thank you to the great team and office staff who helped me through this!

Great experience! I had picosure pro treatment and filler with Dr.Lao 1month ago. My skin is shinning and no more annoy pigmentation . Clinic is very beautiful and new , reception desk Renee is so cute and nice. I recommend Dr.Lao for all my friends. If you have any problems for face and body ,find Dr Lao . He is a very talented plastic surgeon.

I am sharing my experience regarding a refund issue.In August, I signed a standard intake form during a Botox visit. On December 22, I prepaid $3,600 for a discounted Ultherapy treatment. At the time of payment, I was not asked to sign a new agreement or clearly informed that this purchase was non-refundable. After I became pregnant, I was medically unable to proceed with Ultherapy. Since the service has not been rendered, I requested either a refund or to switch to other treatments such as Botox or pigmentation treatments. The clinic declined and stated that the intake form I signed during my first visit applies to all future treatments and means that all payments are final. However, the document I signed did not clearly state that it applies to future transactions. My understanding was that it was specific to my first visit. If I am entering into a new treatment and making a new payment, I believe important terms such as non-refundable policies should be clearly communicated again. I was not informed of this when I made the December payment. Additionally, during a follow-up phone call, a female customer service representative’s tone made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I did not feel the matter was handled professionally. I understand that businesses have policies, but when no service has been rendered and medical circumstances prevent treatment, I believe a more reasonable solution should be considered. For anyone considering prepaid treatments at this clinic, I strongly recommend asking in advance clearly and in writing whether the payment is refundable or transferable before making any purchase.
