The psychiatrist herself and whoever prescribes the medication are frequently late and unprofessional, and also generally does not care for patients. However, I found my therapist helpful.

The female receptionist Anna acts very impatient towards patients, especially my older father who has difficulty with insurance information, and she does not care to help at all, telling him to look at the wall for information and not bother her. Very unprofessional for a doctor's office in particular for mental health and ignores phone calls in front of other patients.

Please avoid this place if you can. I brought a family member here and I'm absolutely disgusted at how they were treated by Dr. Chen. God forbid you meet a doctor who clearly entered the profession for prestige and money.

I would strongly recommend you not choosing this doctor. If you still decide to choose her after reading what happened to me, all I can say is “good luck”! 1) The front desk scheduling is terrible. I need to wait a minimum of 60-80 mins, everytime before I can see the doctor at my scheduled time. There is always a long queue of patients waiting for their appointments and the wait time is just ridiculous. They do not respect other people's time or schedule at all. 2) The doctor has no sympathy towards her patients. She treated me well only the first time when I see her, she took time to talk to me and tried understanding what I have been experiencing. But only the first time. For the other times, she will just look at her computer screen, talk for couple mins, recommend me talking to the therapist, ask me about taking medicines, and then she will stand up and rush me out of her office so she can take in the next patient. She does not care about my symptoms nor my stress levels nor how I am doing. She is not even pretending that she cares. 2) The doctor does not help with any paperwork in case you need proofs for time-off or leave. They will immediately kick you out of their patient list as soon as they find any possibility if you may require their assistance on providing doctor notes. I have been seeing the doctor since 2022 and had been diagnosed with depression after 6 months of therapy and treatments. Recently my symptoms are getting worse so I told the doctor that I may apply for some days off through FMLA so I can take a breath from my life. The moment I brought up the topic, the doctor immediately rejected saying they don’t do any related paperwork. I asked why, she just repeated that they don’t do it and she walked me to the front desk, telling them that I am doing fine and don’t need any future visits. I was even more shocked when I find out she stopped taking me as a patient by refusing all my appointment booking. I tried arguing with them and they just lie to my face saying all of their therapists are currently fully booked. I wouldn’t even imagine this from happening.. patients have the right to take medical leaves, and a doctor can just instruct her front desk to turn down all appointments because they don’t want to do paperwork? To doctor Chen: Please stop these unprofessional behaviors. Your patients deserve better doctors and better treatments. Especially you are dealing with people who might be highly depressed and desperate. Please be more professional, please be more patient, please show more respect! Please help them and try making their lives better, not the other way around!

Very bad attitude. Supposed to have the phone appointment yesterday. Sent the fee in the morning yesterday. Waiting for whole day. Never received a phone call to send my medicine. Tried to contact so many times. Still Ask me to pay, but I already paid. It’s second day. Never received a phone call. Every time I made appointments just to get my medicine, every time I need to call them so many times. Am I good? My condition is getting worse.
