Excellent value!!! Modest layout, but excellent meat very nice staff. BIPULl was our server and was so helpful and friendly with the menu. Get the A5 wagyu, phenomenal! We came here twice even after going to other yakiniku restaurants in the area.

This store is excellent for anyone who wants Japanese ingredients. It has a decent variety of products. Most importantly, it seems like the prices on most items here are better than the other stores. Things like Umeboshi, Kombu, Renkon, Mentaiko all have good prices here. However, they do not sell much fresh vegetables here.

Disclaimer: Product review NOT store review Leaving a specific product review bc of how taken back I was - I bought this specific mochi and it was so bad - unsure why, genuinely baffled bc it wasn’t at a bad or “cheap” price point compared to the other products but the mochi skin was very cardboard like, not chewy even after thawing. Would NOT recommend this specific product, but would recommend the store :)

Thank goodness I don't live in the neighborhood, because if I did, I would be here everyday spending all my money. This market is awesome, especially for all the snacks!!! It's actually overwhelming because there are so many yummy snacks to buy and so many flavors of everything. Castella, buns, daifuku, biscuits, chocolates, pocky of every flavor, kit kats of every flavor, cakes, roll cakes, candies, onigiri, allllll kinds of chips and crackers both sweet and savory. My eyes were darting everywhere while walking down the aisles. Some things are super affordable and some things are pricey, it really depends on what you are looking at. Also there's so much more here, household items, skincare, etc. Definitely worth checking out. I'll be back for sure.
