Had bunion and toes surgery. After three visits I am able to walk without pain. Dr. Kim’s office is welcoming because of the friendly smile from the receptionist. Clean with soothing music. No wait time. Dr. Kim used his gentle hands to take my pain away. Highly recommend!!!

I love this practice. Dr Kim is meticulous, methodical and focused. He is one of the few genuine PT doctors, where he accesses you at every appointment for progress/changes and applies targeted manual PT manipulation every time. This is usually followed the use of various electronic medical devices, PT equipment and then some more hands on therapy. He has healed me of every ailment I have seen him for; acute frozen shoulder (36 visits over 4-5 months) , excruciating hand and thumb pain from a fall (4 sessions in 1 month and resulting in 80% reduction in symptoms), knee pain, etc. Before I came here last year, I had tried at least 6 other offices without success. They were not hands on, not beneficial and weren’t focused on genuine rehabilitation - which this practice is. The front desk here is very organized, appointments are on time and efficient. I am surprised that they have 4.8 score and not 5 stars!! Im not exaggerating when I say that this is the BEST PT doctor in NYC. When any new pain issues arise, I now ask my GP or specialist to prescribe me PT, because Im sure Dr Kim will be able to fix whatever is causing pains or limiting mobility. They are also lovely, polite and kind. The office is very clean.

I’m so happy to have found YD Physical Therapy! The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. I’m recovering from a wrist fracture which resulted in wrist and shoulder stiffness. Dr.Kim is extremely knowledgeable in locating and alleviating all the points that need attention. Coco who does massages is extremely sweet; her massages are the best. Coco’s expertise and attention to detail during massages leave me feeling like new. I felt significant relief and appreciated their professional and attentive approach. Everyone is always checking to make sure you feel comfortable with the movements during the session. The front desk lady is also great, always greeting with a smile! The whole team is amazing and I highly recommend.

I like this place, Dr. Kim is very patient and have a very good knowledge and skill for the PT treatment, his assistant Coco performed very good massage on the area be treated. The facility environment is very clean, nice and comfortable. I recommend it to my friends too.

I have hardly written any reviews, but I am compelled to write one for Dr. Kim. I have a chronic neck & shoulder pain since many many years. I tried many different therapists and therapies. Nothing seemed to really work. I have had only 3 sessions with Dr. Kim so far and I already feel the difference. On my very first visit Dr. Kim evaluated me thoroughly. Every visit since then I felt a progressive relief. I will be amazed if he is able to completely heal my neck. Today is my fourth visit. I am going to write a follow up review after all my sessions are done. I hope this helps someone else with a similar neck & shoulder issue. --------------------------------------------- I am writing a follow-up review. My progress is continuing well, actually beyond my expectations. My neck pain started about 15 years back. Yes, 15 years! I am a software engineer and the long hours of sitting in front of a computer ruined my back and neck. I tried to rectify my posture, but the damage over the years has misaligned my body. Dr. Kim is very observant and has an eye for details. He touches the sore points on my back without me having to say anything. Even though my pain is most severe in my neck, the source seems to be from my lower back. He is trying to fix my misalignment and different muscles are coming back to life little by little. After so many years, I am beginning to feel relief. I will come back with another review after a few weeks. PS: Clinical staff is very helpful and professional. And the place is clean and well maintained.
