would definitely recommend this place for steamed rice rolls, especially if you want to sit down and enjoy your meal. the way they make their chang fen comes out super silky and they aren’t shy on toppings, which i really appreciate. they also have really good congee and i especially love their horlick and evaporated milk drink, not many places around chinatown make it and its always so comforting during the colder days.

Excellent experience at the store with fantastic food! Was really lucky to visit at a time where they weren't busy! Ordered the pork congee with egg and 2 portions of the rice roll. Pork with cilantro rice roll and the rice roll with fried dough. Congee was smooth silky and almost soup like with a hearty taste. Rice rolls were delicious and the sauce was absolutely spot on. Pork slices were tender and very flavourful! Definitely worth a visit to a gem of a breakfast place in Chinatown! Will definitely be back in the future!

I had this place for the first time while I was in Guangzhou. I can say that this place is quite similar to the one in China. The rice roll is quite thin and they had pork liver! The roast pork rice roll was a mix of sweet and savory. Overall, I think it is quite a solid place. Do you bring cash! And there might be a wait during the weekends or during the holidays. However, it is worth a try for cheap eats and good quality food.

Delicious chang fen and authentic Guangzhou cuisine with some Hong Kong breakfast options. The secret peanut butter rice rolls were the best by far - we ate them so quickly! I also recommend the dough rice rolls and any congee. Since we went at a busy time, the service was rather abrupt which is understandable. It is also very noisy in the restaurant and you may have to wait for a table, but trust me it’s worth it! For drinks, the red bean frozen drink was quite creamy and good, but the lemon honey was medicinal tasting for my liking. Keep in mind the restaurant is cash only like many businesses in Chinatown. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area!

Came here 30 minutes after they opened in a weekday because I heard they can get busy. The place is a Hong Kong style cha chaan teng that serves HK style dishes. Ordered a Chinese fried dough sticks wrapped in cheong funn, hk style curry fish balls, and a cold lemon tea drink. The cheong funn wrapped fried dough sticks were good. The sticks were chewy. The cheong funn wrapper was consistent to what you find in a hk dim sum restaurant. Down side is I forgot to ask for last soy sauce, because they bathed it. The dough sticks soaks up the soy sauce causing it to be a little too salty. No complaints with the fish balls covered in hk style curry. The cold lemon tea was also good too. I would come back again to try the other dishes. This place is cash only! No credit cards or digital payment.
