I got takeout from here and it was very good. I ordered the wok side paste (aka guo bian - rice crepes in savory soup) and the two oyster pancakes. The flavor is very umami. It’s a casual Fuzhounese breakfast place where you can enjoy a hearty meal for a really good price.
What really stands out to me is their oyster pancakes because it actually has oysters. Their pancakes are made fresh and it’s made in front of customers so I saw that each pancake has a good amount of oysters.
The inside is small, but if you don’t mind squeezing, you can probably find a place to sit.
I grew up in the U.S. so I cannot attest to its actual authenticity. I just have experience from eating Fuzhounese food in Brooklyn Chinatown, Manhattan Chinatown, and Flushing. Fuzhounese food is my comfort food, so I am excited to discover a new place for me to visit whenever I am in Flushing.
