Young Fish 每味鱼

My family and I had a great time eating here. We were seated quickly, as the interior is quite large, and there were a lot of empty tables even on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was extremely attentive and immediately placed a complimentary cucumber and wood ear mushroom dish at our table. It was so tasty soaked in oil and as a bonus, came in handy when our mouths were on fire because of the dishes. We ordered the sichuan pepper grilled fish, which tasted amazing! The dish is deceptively shallow looking. The fish was actually placed on top of a bed of vegetables that soaked up all the sauce. We also ordered a combo meal that included the sauerkraut fish, which came in a huge bowl, a mango lemon soda drink, and an appetizer of fried squid. While the meal did end up coming to $20 per person, it was fairly reasonable with all the combo options available. And at the end, they served a complimentary herbal jelly dessert! I can’t wait to come back and try out some of the other appetizers and dishes!

Looking for a late snack and first time trying out this new place. So far the food was nice, the atmosphere was friendly and for sure they are not cheap when the AC… they have it blasting! The waitress was nice and friendly and gives good suggestions. We would come back to try other flavors. It’s my first sauerkraut fish soup!

Delicious grilled fish with rich, bold flavors. The fish was tender and well-seasoned, and the portions were generous. Great spot on 8th Ave for a satisfying meal.

Great sauerkraut fish at Young Fish!! I had the golden basa fish, and the heat built up nicely. The free jelly at the end was very welcome. I definitely want to come back with a friend to try some of the other items on the menu!

The tomato fish we finished was delicious; I ordered the set meal. A fish, a snack, and a drink cost around $24. They also have a members-only discount on Fridays, offering half-price fish for the second serving. However, we realized the portion size was actually quite small—enough for only two people. The service was good, and they also have a pre-order promotion.
